This poster depicts details taken from preliminary sketches by John Gabriel Beckman for the interior murals of Catalina Island's famous Casino Theatre. The murals were executed by Beckman and a team of artists in an astoundingly short four-month period before the Casino's grand opening in 1929. Beckman is also known for the murals in Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
